
ELECTRICIAN HELPER (Commercial)
Position Summary
Hopkins | Lacy, the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, (MEP) Division of Branch, is searching for an enthusiastic Electrician Helper to join our team. The Helper will be responsible for assisting their mentor in installation and repair of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing tasks as assigned by project leadership.
Duties/Responsibilities
· Gather tools and supplies to be used at the work site following instructions
· Use ruler and hand tools
· Help with lifting, positions and fastening objects
· Perform minor repairs
· Maintains tools and equipment for their trade
· Attend to work assignment instructions or to supervisor’s orders
· Exercise critical thinking and reasoning skills
· Execute work-place safety regulations

Qualifications
- 1 to 3 months of prior experience
- Driver’s License
- Elementary level mathematics and English language skills

Travel is frequently required to and from job site locations.

The employee will also need to be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle, feel, talk, and hear. The employee will need to be able to carry up to 75lbs, lift up to 100lbs, and move up to 200lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, midrange vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40 hours per week.
