
PROJECT EXECUTIVE
Position Summary
Branch is looking for a Project Executive to join our Design-Build group to lead the pursuit and operations teams in developing proposals for and constructing Design-Build Transportation projects in the Southeast. The successful candidate will work with the Design-Build Coordination, Proposal Management, and Operations staff in delivering Design-Build projects. The candidate will be capable of overseeing multiple projects with aggregate annual revenue of up to $100M. This position requires the candidate to be a self-starter, have a strong work ethic, and to be committed to quality and safety.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for successful pursuit and management of multiple Design-Build or P3 projects
- Ensure profitable project completion within the project timeline
- Lead project through buy out, execution, turnover, and close out
- Coordinate the “hand-off” from estimating to the operations team
- Participate in the pursuit phase Technical Work Groups
- Coordinate with Operations personnel to perform constructability reviews
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative ideas or Alternative Technical Concepts
- Oversee development of project schedule during pursuit and post-award
- Provide guidance and work with Operations staff to oversee buyout of subcontractor and material contracts
- Attend monthly meetings with Owner to monitor progress and manage relationship
- Participate in monthly project reviews
- Facilitate Joint Venture meetings and bid reviews

Qualifications
- 10+ years related industry experience in Heavy Civil Construction
- In depth knowledge of the heavy civil construction industry and the process of pursuing, designing, and constructing Design-Build projects
- Proficient at strategy development and execution
- Ability to accurately assess the current financial status of projects
- Ability to forecast monthly, quarterly, yearly, and final results of complex Design-Build projects
- Ability to develop, lead, and participate in a team environment
- Proficient understanding of the scope of work involved to construct transportation improvement projects
- Advanced writing and communication skills

- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time
- Relocation may be desirable

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40+ hours a week.
