We are searching for an experienced and safety-oriented Mechanic to join our well-established, growing company. The Mechanic assembles, sets up, adjusts, maintains, repairs and welds equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Operates any equipment unit on a temporary basis for operating adjustments
- Make repairs necessary and performs preventive maintenance practices necessary to increase service life of the equipment
- Familiar with: Lubrication, Paint & Body, Machine Shop, Injector-governor, Water-cooled Engine rebuild, Transmission and rear-ends, Air-cooled engines, Heavy Equipment parts
- May perform other related duties

Qualifications
- Knowledge of construction techniques
- 1 to 3 years of Mechanic experience
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
- DOT experience preferred, but not required

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.
